Privacy Notice

1. Who we are
Ricktr is operated by Aaron Neasbitt ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
2. What we collect
· Account data — your email address and login credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: contract performance).
· Your videos and links — videos you upload or share, and links you paste, used to analyze and score them and to show your scan history (legal basis: contract performance).
· Usage data — how many checks you've used, your plan, and basic app activity, used to provide the service and enforce plan limits (legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests).
· Device data — IP address and device identifiers, used for security and fraud prevention (legal basis: legitimate interests).
· Support messages — if you contact us, we keep the conversation to help you (legal basis: legitimate interests).
Payment details are collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card number.
3. How your videos are processed
Videos you submit are stored privately in your account and analyzed by an AI model to produce your Rick Score. We do not make your videos public or share them with other users.
4. Who we share data with
· Service providers — hosting, database, and AI analysis providers that process data on our behalf.
· Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
· Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
· Authorities — where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When data is no longer needed — for example after you delete your account — we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the support email shown in the app — we respond within one month. If you're in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data.
9. Cookies
Ricktr uses only essential cookies and storage needed to keep you signed in and run the app. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
