1. Who we are

Ricktr is operated by Aaron Neasbitt ("we", "us", the "Seller"). By creating an account or continuing to use Ricktr, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and confirm you are of legal age to enter into this agreement. You are contracting with the Seller.

2. The service

Ricktr analyzes videos you share or upload and returns a "Rick Score" from 1 to 100 estimating the likelihood that the video is AI-generated. Your first 3 checks are free. After that you can buy a one-time pack of 12 checks ($1.99, never expires) or an unlimited monthly subscription ($6.99/month).

3. Accuracy of results

The Rick Score is an automated estimate. AI detection is not perfect: results may be inaccurate, and a score is not proof that a video is or is not AI-generated. Do not rely on Ricktr as the sole basis for legal, journalistic, financial, or other high-stakes decisions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

4. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. The unlimited subscription renews monthly until cancelled; when you cancel, access continues until the end of your paid month. Check packs never expire.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Ricktr. You must not:

· Use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive, or to spam others.
· Upload content you have no right to use, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property.
· Upload malware, or probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the service or its security.
· Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent the service's technical limits (including the free-check allowance).
· Use the service to create, distribute, or legitimize deepfakes, hate speech, or illegal content.

You are responsible for the videos you submit, for how you use the results, and for verifying results before acting on them.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process your videos solely to provide the service (analysis, scoring, and delivering your results). If you believe content on Ricktr infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate. Repeated infringement may lead to account termination.

7. Intellectual property

We own Ricktr, including the software, the Rick the Chick mascot and branding, and all related documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan. Analysis results are yours to use, subject to these terms.

8. Your account

Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for providing accurate information.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, your scan history may be deleted after a reasonable period.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

11. General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the Seller's place of business.
